We’re identifying solutions to improve workforce participation of women and gender-diverse folks in Alberta.
The pandemic has amplified economic and labour inequalities for women and gender-diverse folks. Racialized women, newcomers, mothers, and young women and gender-diverse people have been most impacted. Through enhanced engagement and collaboration across the social and private sectors, we’re supporting innovation and systemic change.
We recently completed the first phase of this three-year project funded by the Feminist Response and Recovery Fund through Women and Gender Equality Canada. We are excited to share what we’ve learned about challenges, opportunities, and priorities for action.
