Raza Hussain

Raza Hussain is the Director of Transformation at NAIT, where he oversees NAIT’s transformation management office that leads strategic enterprise initiatives to support institutional effectiveness and long-term organizational impact. With more than 15 years of leadership experience across public and private sector organizations, he has led transformational change initiatives focused on strategy execution, digital transformation, governance, workforce modernization, and organizational effectiveness. He is passionate about helping organizations navigate change while delivering meaningful outcomes for employees, partners, and clients.

Born and raised in Edmonton, Raza holds Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary. He also earned a Graduate Diploma in Management and a Master of Business Administration from Athabasca University. His graduate research explored the intersection of Strategic Human Resource Management and Information Technology, with a focus on effective Human-AI collaboration strategies. Raza was drawn to PolicyWise because of its mission, values, and commitment to improving outcomes for children and families through evidence-informed research and collaboration. He is honoured to contribute his experience in support of an organization that is making a meaningful difference in communities across Alberta.
