Dr. Sue Grundy
Dr. Sue Grundy holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Edinburgh and has built a career spanning research, public service, education, and organizational leadership. Her academic and postdoctoral work focused on young people and included environmental issues, geopolitical identities, and risk-taking behaviours. In recent years, she has continued her professional development through executive coaching certification, a Diploma in Digital Education, IAP2 stakeholder engagement training, and is currently pursuing her PMP certification.
Sue is the Director of Strategic Planning, Analytics, and Reporting at Lethbridge Polytechnic and a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Previously, she worked in executive operations at the Sooke School District in BC and held several roles with the Government of Alberta. With extensive experience in strategic planning, governance, policy, research, evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and analytics, Sue specializes in translating complex information into actionable insights that support organizational effectiveness and evidence-informed decision-making.
