Leslie Bergin

Leslie Bergin joined PolicyWise for Children & Families in 2026 as the Director of Business & Fund Development. She is responsible for leading our business development, fundraising, and communications.

Leslie is a strategic leader with nearly 20 years of experience across post-secondary, health care, and non-profit sectors. She is known for securing transformational donations, building effective teams, and designing evidence‑informed engagement strategies that drive results and sustainable growth.

In senior roles at West Island College, Athabasca University, and the University of Calgary, Leslie led major fundraising campaigns and advancement operations and built networks that expanded reach and impact.

Leslie also brings over ten years of business development experience in the pharmaceutical industry. There, she led sales teams and managed complex client portfolios.
