Madina Ahmed
Madina Ahmed is a youth-focused professional with experience supporting children, youth, and families across community, health care, and educational settings. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Alberta and is currently completing her Masters in Counselling Psychology at City University of Seattle. Her professional experience includes roles with BGC Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton & Area, The Family Centre of Northern Alberta, and Edmonton Catholic Schools.
Madina is passionate about youth and family wellness, with a particular interest in how cultural and intergenerational experiences can shape well-being. She brings a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive perspective to her work and is committed to creating inclusive environments where young people and families can build resilience and thrive. Through her work and continued learning, she hopes to contribute to evidence-informed approaches that promote equitable outcomes and meaningful change for children, youth, families, and communities.
