Veronica Young

Veronica Young is a Fractional Financial Controller with over 15 years of experience in accounting, finance, and leadership. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta. She then earned her Chartered Accountant designation while articling at Deloitte & Touche.

From there, Veronica moved to the private sector, serving as a Business Analyst at Applus RTD, a Financial Controller at Paragon Soil and Environmental Consulting Inc., and a Financial Controller at Brock Canada. These roles sharpened her skills in helping organizations grow and change. She loves to set teams up for success and lead positive transformations across organizations.

Veronica is also a passionate volunteer. She has supported BGCBigs, Edmonton Meals on Wheels, Bike Edmonton, and CPA Canada Financial Literacy. She was born and raised in Edmonton, and her favourite summer festival is The Fringe.

In 2024, Veronica joined PolicyWise’s Board of Directors.
